Glenview Stables is a small professionally run livery/training yard in the heart of the beautiful countryside of Co Down Northern Ireland.

The yard is managed and run by International Dressage Rider Carolyn Mellor BHSI, who started this successful business 25 years ago.

Carolyn has competed for Ireland in the discipline of Dressage on her own now retired Irish Bred horse Hails Vision.  Hails Vision remains an important part of the business however, as he is now used as a schoolmaster for training riders to the higher levels of dressage.  Carolyn continues to produce talented up and coming young horses and can be seen competing regularly on the Dressage circuit throughout Ireland and England.  She is trained by International trainers Pammy Hutton and Conrad Schumacher.

As well as being a successful competition yard, we also school and train horses for clients as well as training riders on their own horses.  These horses and riders come from all equestrian disciplines including Dressage, Showjumping and Eventing, as well as Pony Club and Riding Club and the yard is renowned for training horses and riders from Novice Level to Advanced.  Exam training also takes place at the yard for BHS Exams and Pony Club Exams.
